The inspiration that moved me was a series of photos I saw on the Internet. That set was really wonderful and gave me goose bumps because of the romanticism of the scene. Spring, flowers, pastel colours... I really fell in love and wanted to interpret this theme in a positive way, because goose bumps can also come from strong, positive emotions that immerse us in an ideal world of beauty and love.
EXPRESSION winner
Expanded big interview in the glossy magazine Russian INN
21. Behind the scenes
Svetlana Gladkikh
Mixed media
"""Why... Why... Why... Oh God, why have you fallen for your mom's persuasion and agreed to perform at this concert? And now she is sitting in the auditorium, proud and satisfied , writing endless stories on Instagram. But you have to stay alone backstage, feeling unavoidable shame and disgrace. And inside of you there is a tiny beastie with ice paws and millions of goosebumps on your back cheerfully anticipating your failure or your triumph just only because the thought of coming onstage.""
We all used to be children. And we've all felt fear of excitement behind the scene.
I dedicate my work to the child, yesterday, today and the future.
And let in his life the fear on the scene be the scariest fear."
Nominee for Gaudir 2022

"What kind of music are you into? Pop? jazz or perhaps classic?
That is a question, which makes me confused and puzzled. Isn't it а bit strange judging about music merely by belonging to a certain era or genre?
The 24th Capris by Paganini and Scorpions, Johann Sebastian Bach and Zaz, Queen and Rachmaninov perfectly get along with each other in my shortest play list.
- Well, what music are into?
- I'm into one which makes me goosebumps..."

24. Talía and Melphomene, the Siamese
Gabriela Brito Berland
"As the title indicates, these sisters were born together. Melpomene's right arm and Talía's left are one. Despite being physically identical and being together all the time, they are antagonistic.
Talía and Melpómene illustrate another tool of Metaphysics that I use to communicate in art, it is the Law of Polarity.
Would we know what light is without the existence of darkness?"
